TLX Day will offer a dynamic blend of sessions designed to inspire and equip educators as they prepare for the new academic year. Session topics include exploring inclusive and safe learning environments, navigating the ethics of teaching with educational technology, understanding the role of AI in education, mastering case study methods, reaffirming the vital role of teachers in the age of AI, decolonizing college pedagogy, and ensuring compliance with legislative AODA requirements.

In this session, educators will learn the fundamentals of accessibility for course planning and instruction based on their requirements and responsibilities set out under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC). Educators will learn about the diversity of disabilities, how to meet our duty to accommodate, reducing barriers, and creating more accessible, universally-designed learning experiences.
