Using Computers and Software at the Library
Each library has a network of open access computers available to students. Please read through the policies on the Computer Use page for guidelines on usage. You have the option of downloading material to your own portable or cloud-based drive, e-mailing material to yourself, or printing.
AppsAnywhere Computer Software
Students have access to a wide range of computer software through GBC's AppsAnywhere, a service that allows you to access software on-demand, anytime, from anywhere. Visit the AppsAnywhere page for more information on the types of software and system requirements.
Borrow Technology Equipment
iPads, laptops, and charging cables, are only a few examples of the various technology you can borrow for free from the Library Learning Commons. All you need is a valid GBC Student ID.
iPad Apps
iPads are available for you to borrow and come preloaded with a number of apps, including specialized program content, accessibility, and access to our extensive e-book and database collections. Preloaded apps are specific to classes taught at each campus location.
