Are you a current student taking the summer semester off and returning to studies during the fall, with a brilliant business idea? The Ontario province-wide Summer Company program supports eligible student entrepreneurs, aged 15 to 29, looking to launch and operate a small business during the summer. The program runs eight weeks for high-school students and 12 weeks for post-secondary students.
With business training, expert mentorship and the chance to receive up to $3,000 in grant funding, this program is intended for entrepreneurs with a business idea but not an already existing business. Early applications are encouraged. Every local municipal economic development unit across Ontario is now taking applications.
