As a country and as a college, May 5 provides an important opportunity for us to collectively acknowledge the higher rates of violence First Nations, Inuit, and Métis women, girls and 2SLGBTQQIA people face and question why this continues to happen.

A George Brown College postgraduate HR student team was awarded third place out of 18 teams in Ontario and first out of all Toronto colleges and universities at the 2023 HRPA Student Case Competition.   

In partnership with Gilda's Club Toronto, the George Brown College (GBC) research team created an evidence-based nutrition resource for what to consume for cancer prevention, during cancer treatment, and to prevent recurrence.
